Skills form the most fundamental part of automating allocation on the ChakraHQ platform.
When a process is created, the platform identifies the skills that are required to fulfill the process successfully, and then allocates the process to the users with the required skillsets. In this section, we understand the creation of skills on the ChakraHQ platform.
Skills are defined within a skill-type and are created by specifying two aspects:
Let's look at an example to illustrate the same. Imagine an inside sales team attending to leads generated online. The manager of the team wishes to allocate leads to agents based on the city of the lead, and the ticket size.
In this case, the team lead must define two skill-types i.e. city, and ticket size. Once the skill-types have been configured, we must then add individual skills into these skill-types. The manager decides that all leads from the city of Mumbai must be allocated to Agent 1. So he creates a skill called Mumbai, and defines the corresponding conditions and adds Agent 1 to the skill Mumbai.
Skills can be deactivated and activated again, by a simply clicking the De-Activate
(or Activate
button in case of inactive skills).
To view all skills, active and inactive, check the toggle button on top of the skills page for the procedure.
