Create A Chart Dashboard

In this tutorial we will create a chart dashboard with a visualization.

Create a dashboard​

  • Go to the Dashboards List page
  • Click Add New Dashboard to add a new dashboard
  • This action also takes you to the newly created Dashboard page
  • You can rename the dashboard from the top left corner
  • Click New Visualization to add a new visualization
  • A single visualization gets a chart based on a single query from a single data source
  • You will now be presented with a modal with different types visualization templates
  • Choose Chat > "Avg FRT X User" template and click Use button
  • This visualization will now be added to the dashboard
  • You can modify the shape and size of the visualization by dragging its lower right corner
  • Click "Save" button on the top right to save any unsaved changes

Modify a visualization​

You can modify a visualization to change its underlying query

  • Click the top right corner of the visualziation to open its editor in a new page
  • Here you can see the current query configuration for the visualization
  • You can make changes here and clikc the Run button to preview results
