Yes, it's possible in some cases. While Meta (WhatsApp's parent company) usually requires GST documentation for business verification, businesses like sole proprietorships or educational institutions that are exempt from GST (e.g., with annual turnover under ₹20 lakhs) can still apply.

Normally, a phone number can't be active on both the API and the app. However, WhatsApp has introduced a "coexistence" feature in selected countries (India, Australia, the EU, the UK, etc.) that allows you to use both the Business API and the WhatsApp Business app on the same number.

WhatsApp automatically increases your messaging limits based on how well your business performs. You start with a limit of messaging 1,000 unique users per day, and over time, WhatsApp may increase this to higher tiers like 10,000 or 100,000 users.
