Configure Custom Attributes

You can configure custom attributes to store structured information against a chat. Then you can configure chat triggers or chatbots to store information like tracking codes, preferences, profile information here.

Chat Attributes List

Chat Attributes list can be accessed from Admin > Chat Settings > Attributes

Add a new attribute

  • Click "Add new" on the left hand side above the attribute list to add a new attribute.
  • Choose "Standard Attribute"
  • Provide a name for your attribute
  • Provide a shortId for the attribute. short ids should be of lowercase characters without spaces or special characters. underscores can be used though
  • Choose an attribute type
  • Click Create
