π How to submit a Template for approval?β
Now that your template is created, it's time to submit it for Meta's approval to ensure that it can be used for sending WhatsApp messages.
π§ Step 1: Review your Template before submissionβ
- Before submitting the template, ensure that all elements are filled out completely:
- Template Name: Double-check that itβs unique and follows WhatsApp's naming rules (no spaces allowed).
- Content Variables: Ensure you've added the correct variables (e.g.,
{{name}}
), and provided sample values for personalization. - Header, Body & Footer: Make sure the content is clear and compliant with WhatsApp's guidelines.
- Buttons: Verify that any link buttons or quick reply buttons are correctly set up.
β Step 2: Submit the Template for approvalβ
- Once youβve reviewed and are happy with your template, click the
Submit for Review
button. - A confirmation modal will pop up, asking if you want to submit it for approval.
- Click Confirm to submit your template for review.
β³ Step 3: Wait for approvalβ
- After submission, your template will go through a review process by Meta.
- The approval process typically takes between 1 minute and 1 day.
- Youβll receive a notification once the template is approved or if any changes are needed.
π Step 4: Sync your Template (If needed)β
- Once your template is approved:
- It should automatically appear in ChakraHQ, ready for use.
- If it doesn't show up right away, use the "Sync Templates" button in the plugin page to manually fetch the newly approved template.
