Overview

The article outlines steps to disconnect your WhatsApp Business API (WABA) from Chakra Chat and delete your Chakra Chat account.

Note: To delete your Chakra Chat account, you must first disconnect your WABA, then proceed with the account deletion.

Disconnect WhatsApp

• Go to WhatsApp Setupin the lest-side navigation bar. ⬇️ Scroll down to the bottom of the page
• Click on Disconnect WhatsApp to complete the disconnection process

Disconnect WhatsApp [Coexistence]

The WhatsApp business platform in Coexistence mode can be disconected from your WhatsApp business app

⚠️ Important Note: A WhatsApp Business Number connected in Chakra using coexistence, once disconnected cannot be migrated to any other WhatsApp partner solution as of now. This capability is not supported by Meta yet. It is expected to be live in early 2026.

• Go to your WhatsApp Business mobile app
• Click on Settings -> Accounts -> Business platform
• You'll find ChakraHQ connected. Click on Disconnect
• Review it and complete the disconnection steps

Delete Chakra Account

• Click on your Account in the right-side top of Chakra dashboard. Go to Team Settings

• ⬇️ Scroll down to the bottom of the page in the General tab

  

• In the Delete Team section, click on Delete Team and complete the deletion process
