Welcome to Chakra Chat! This step-by-step guide will help you set up your WhatsApp Business API account on Chakra quickly and smoothly.
1. Signup for a New Account

- By default, you will be on the Free Tier. Check available features in the free plan.
2. Check Pre-requisites for Connecting WhatsApp
Before connecting your number, ensure all requirements are met:

4. Connect Your WhatsApp Number

Important Warning for Coexistence Numbers
Currently, migrations for Coexistence numbers are not supported by Meta. Once disconnected, re-connection may not be possible. Double-check before proceeding.
5. Add Meta Payment Method
To send template messages (required for initiating conversations outside the 24-hour window):
Note: Template messaging charges are billed directly by Meta. Chakra does not add any markup — you pay Meta’s standard rates.
6. Verify Your Account Setup
Confirm everything is approved:

- Business Verification (if applicable)
- Payment Method
- Display Name Approval
7. Upgrade to a Paid Chakra Chat Plan
