Step 1: Connecting WhatsApp

Let's walk through how to get access to set up a WhatsApp Business Cloud API account. To begin using WhatsApp through Chakra, you’ll first need to connect your WhatsApp Business Account.

Click WhatsApp Plugin

Click "Continue With Facebook."​

In the plugin details page, you need to click continue with Facebook". This will do the following

  • Authorize Chakra to connect with your Facebook (Meta) account.
  • Let you create or link a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA).
  • Provide the necessary Cloud API permissions to the connected WABA.

💡 Already have a WABA account? You can use this flow to migrate your existing WhatsApp numbers to Chakra.
